What to do About a Blocked Throat Chakra
Work through and release all negative emotions including guilt, hurt and resentment. A good cry can alleviate blockage. Practice mindful speech, action and deeds like talking openly and honestly with others on a regular basis. Meditate on the color blue; envision blue light around your vocal chords. Incorporate blue into your home; introduce blue clothing, decor or flowers. Blue can calm emotional upheavels and is a go-to healing color. Try singing, chanting, yoga (opening throat positions especially), do shoulder stands and cardio exercises.
The throat chakra is related to the element ether/sky. Meditate outside and watch clouds roll by, write a letter or keep a journal. Go somewhere that echoes. Yell and hear your voice return back to you. Find guided meditations on the throat chakra as well as listening to binaural beats. The sound for the throat chakra is “ham,” in the G note at 384 Hz. Binaural beats on YouTube provide exact frequencies you can listen to (always with headphones). Listen to sounds like crickets or birds chirping as well. The related sense is hearing so listening to the above mentioned can do alot.
